Northern Region Academy

Northern Region Academy is the second football technical centre in Vanuatu established and opened on December 2015 in Luganville, Santo to serve the northern region part of Vanuatu with five provinces.

Lambert Maltock, president of Vanuatu Football Federation officially opened the Northern Region Technical Centre longside, the Director General of the Youth and Sport, William Nasak, on Tuesday 1 December 2015 and the ceremony took place at the academy in Luganville Soccer Stadium, fully funded by FIFA with the support of Oceania Football Confederation.[1][2]

In 2017, Vanuatu Football Federation picked most players to play for National U17 Tournament in Tahiti from 11 to 20 February 2017, and is a big achievement for the new academy in the northern region.[3]
