North Coast Institute of TAFE
The North Coast Institute of TAFE is set on the New South Wales north coast, with a student population of approximately 50,000. It has 16 different campus locations, stretching from Forster in the south to Kingscliff, near the Queensland border.
The North Coast Institute operates a number of Centres of Excellence. The Djigay Aboriginal Education Centre is at Kempsey Campus, while the National Fishing Industry Education Centre (Natfish) and the Horse Industry Training Centre are located at Trenyar Campus. Each centre offers programs that have been developed in consultation with industry and meet industry competency standards.
The natural environment of the region, coupled with a climate that encourages outdoor activities, makes the north coast an attractive location in which to live and study, while the North Coast Institute's student support services ensure students learn in a sociable and supportive environment.
