History

Early Years (1996 - 2010)

During its time in the HDFL since its beginning until the 2010's North Bendigo wasn't a successful team and was a new team to the league and had to be given time to adjust. however during their time over 14 years they had only been in the finals a couple of times with extremely little progression through the year.

Success Era (2012 - Present)

in 2012 after a couple of good seasons they had surprisingly found themselves in the grand final however it would be a massive defeat to LBU by 94 points. But the future looked good for the bulldogs as they had surprised everybody by becoming runner-up and finding its first ever feet of success. the next season (2013) they had finished 3rd on the ladder and were looking better than they ever have before and were set for an exciting finals series however that all fell short as they lost in the Prelim to hunlty by 66 points. in 2014 they were set for another big season and were looking better than they ever have especially at the end of the season when they finished first and were looking good for the premiership however LBU had won three in a row and had previously beaten North Bendigo in the 2012 Grand Final. North Bendigo made it to the Grand Final but had just fell short and lost to LBU once again. Now the season was looking better for them as they had matured a lot and LBU wasn't looking has good has they had previously looked, they however finished second at the end of the H&A Season after Leitchville Gunbower and had made it to the grand final after a rocky finals series nontheless North Bendigo had finally won the Grand Final and were premiers after a hard fought game and a hard fought few seasons. And won back to back premierships and was getting the success they so thoroughly deserved and the Successive era was in play.

Rivalries

Because of the small sized football league rivalries are few and far between and most teams aren't overly aggressive towards another team, however North Bendigo's Biggest rivals are Leitchville Gunower, LBU & Huntly
