Avinoam Noma Bar[2] (born in 1973) is an Israel-born graphic designer, illustrator and artist.[1][3][4][5] His work appears in newspapers, magazines, book covers, ad campaigns and in his own books.[1]

Bar has published over 550 illustrations, which have been used in The Guardian, The New York Times, Time Out London,[1] The Observer, The Economist and Wallpaper*; illustrated book covers for Don DeLillo and Haruki Murakami;[1] appeared in ad campaigns for Google, Sony and Nike;[1] and been used on over sixty magazine covers. He has released three books of his work: Guess Who?: The Many Faces of Noma Bar (2008), Negative Space (2009), and Bittersweet (2017).

Bar won a Yellow Pencil award at the D&AD Professional Awards 2012 for his series of Don DeLillo book covers,[6] created with London design studio It's Nice That. In 2014, he illustrated Chineasy: The New Way to Read Chinese by Shaolan Hsueh, a book about Hsueh's visual-based method of learning Chinese.
