Nishiharue Heartpia Station (西春江ハートピア駅 Nishiharue-Hātopia-eki) is an Echizen Railway Mikuni Awara Line railway station located in Sakai, Fukui Prefecture, Japan.
Station
All Mikuni Awara Line trains serve Nishiharue Heartpia Station. There are two tracks serving two side platforms, and the station is unstaffed.
Surrounding area
- The station is at the center of a small cluster of residences and shops. Fukui Prefectural Route 102 lies to the south.
- The general-aviation Fukui Airport is located roughly 1.5 kilometers east.
History
- December 30, 1928: Station opens as Nishi-Harue Station.
- September 1, 1942: Keifuku Electric Railway merges with Mikuni Awara Electric Railway.
- June 25, 2001: Operations halted due to accident on the Echizen Main Line.
- July 20, 2003: Station reopens as an Echizen Railway station.
- March 25, 2017: Renamed as Nishiharue Heartpia Station.[1]
