Nippon Broadcasting System, Inc. (株式会社ニッポン放送 Kabushiki-gaisha Nippon Hōsō), or JOLF, is a Japanese radio station in Tokyo. Founded December 23, 1953. Together with Nippon Cultural Broadcasting it is a flagship station of the National Radio Network. JOLF also has a relationship with Fuji Television, both being part of the Fujisankei Communications Group.
Changing abbreviations
From July 15, 1954 to September 30, 1967 it used NBS, as the abbreviation of Nagano Broadcasting Systems, Inc. Since October 1, 1967 it has used LF, the last two letters of the call sign JOLF.
