Nikola Moro (born 12 March 1998) is a Croatian footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for GNK Dinamo Zagreb, the reserves of GNK Dinamo Zagreb, and the Croatia national under-19 football team. In addition to the one league appearance for the senior GNK Dinamo Zagreb lineup, he has also made one cup appearance. Signing until 2022 with the GNK Dinamo Zagreb seniors, he is set to feature for the first team more regularly in the impending future.[1][2]

A Hajduk fan in his early days in Solin,[3] Nikola's father Miro Moro yearned him to contemplate a career in Hajduk[4] but he went to the GNK Dinamo Zagreb Academy. Nikola joined the main GNK Dinamo Zagrebn unit from the Dinamo youth academy in 2014.[5]

Early life

Aged six, he started football, moving to Zagreb aged 11.[6]

Club career

Moro played a full 90 minutes in his league debut for his senior team versus their feeder club NK Lokomotiva.[7]

International career

Representing Croatia at U-16, U-17, and finally U-19 level, Nikola Moro made the quarter-finals of the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup eventually losing to Mali.[8][9]
