Nikkō Station (日光駅, Nikkō-eki) is a railway station on the Nikkō Line in Nikkō, Tochigi, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

Nikkō Station forms the terminus of the Nikkō Line, and is located 40.5 kilometers from the starting point of the line at Utsunomiya

History

Nikkō Station opened on 1 August 1890.[1] With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.[1]
