Nicole Melichar (Czech: Nicole Melicharová) is an American tennis player.
Melichar was born on July 29, 1993, in Brno, Czech Republic, but moved to Stuart, Florida with her parents shortly after her birth.[1] Her older sister, Jane, played tennis, and Melichar claims to have taken up the sport aged just 1 year old.[1]
Melichar has won one WTA Tour and one WTA 125K series doubles titles, as well as two singles and six doubles titles on the ITF circuit in her career. On September 24, 2012, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 400. On July 3, 2017, she peaked at world number 52 in the doubles rankings.
Melichar competed at the 2012 US Open, partnering Brian Battistone, in mixed doubles, after having won the National Wildcard Playoffs.[2]
