Nicola Giusfredi is a Livornese painter, who began his career as a self-taught artist and later studied under Maestro Ferruccio Mataresi.[1][2]

Career

In 2008, Giusfredi participated with Domenico Asmone, Lilly Brogi, Franco Cappelli and Ladislao Nocentini in an exhibition at the Palazzo Panciatichi, Regional Council of Tuscany, organized by La Pergola Arte in Florence.[3] In 2009, he was one of the artists in the exhibition at Palazzo Medici Riccardi of Florence.[4]

During his career he received awards: in 1989, Giusfredi ranked third in the "Costa degli Etruschi" ("Etruscan Coast" art competition). He won first prize at "small size" at La Pergola Arte in 2007 and second prize in 2011, Cat Arte prize finalist of Padova (Padua) in 2011, and a special award in the artistic contest of Aci Mugello.[5][6] From 2010 to 2016, Giusfredi attended The Marguttiana of Forte dei Marmi in he was part of 2016 to the fifty-second edition.[7]

Giusfredi has created many posters for the performances of Teatro Goldoni in Livorno and the covers of books by Italian authors and many important group exhibitions, such as 2014 Arteè at Caffè Giubbe Rosse, Florence.[8][9][10][11]

In 2016, Giusfredi was in the group exhibition Arteè with numerous other painters for the Consiglio regionale della Toscana (Regional Council of Tuscany) in the Palazzo Bastogi, with presentation by Carmelina Rotundo and Peter Michael, and the presence at the inauguration of council president, Eugenio Giani.[12][13]
