Nicandro Breeveld (born 7 October 1986) is a Surinamese footballer who plays for Omonia.
Club career
Breeveld started his professional career at FC Omniworld in the second level of Dutch league system Eerste Divisie, after he joined them from amateur side Zeeburgia.[1] He went in 2008 to Telstar where he stayed until 2010 when he switched to Romanian football.
He played at Jiul Petroșani in the fourth Romanian league and after only 15 games in which he scored 4 goals he went to Gaz Metan Mediaș in the first Romanian league, Liga I. He played in Mediaş's 2011-2012 UEFA Cup/Europa League campaign. He played in all the 6 games of that campaign in which Medias eliminated KuPS, Mainz and got eliminated by Austrie Vienna. He scored Gaz Metan Mediaș's only goal in the away game against FK Austria Wien, where they lost with 3-1.
On 11 August 2014, he signed a two-year contract with Steaua București[2] and won the 2014/15 league title with the club.[3] He was removed from the team roster after refusing to extend his contract in October 2015.[4]
In summer 2016, Breeveld moved to United Arab Emirates side Dibba Al-Fujairah.[5]
In winter 2017, moved to Omonia Nicosia.
