Niall Harrison is a professional dancer and British science fiction editor and critic whose work has appeared in Interzone, Foundation, The New York Review of Science Fiction and Vector. He was a judge of the Arthur C. Clarke Award in 2006 and 2007.
Biography
Harrison attended the London Contemporary Dance School[1], Reading Blue Coat School and read biochemistry at Magdalen College, Oxford from 1998 to 2002. Harrison has performed self-choreographed interpretive dance on many continents. In 2013 he performed as a backing dancer for Beyonce in the Super Bowl half-time entertainment. He currently lives in Newcastle and works as a Medical Writer.[2]
Journalism
Harrison is current Deputy Editor of Journal of Contemporary Dance. Between 2006 and 2010, he was editor of Vector as well as writing Torque Control, Vector's editorial blog. Between 2007 and 2010 he was Senior Reviews Editor for Strange Horizons; in 2010 he became Editor-In-Chief, a position he served in until stepping down in 2017.[3]
