Nguyễn Minh Châu (born January 9, 1985)[2] is a Vietnamese football player who plays in the midfield and is playing for Hải Phòng and a member of Vietnam national football team since 2008. Nguyen Minh Chau's position at Hai Phong Cement Club and Vietnam National Team are all in the center. Nguyen Minh Chau is considered as the best player to recruit Vietnam with the phase sweep in the middle of the pitch.
Life
Nguyen Minh Chau was born in a family of 7 sisters. He is the youngest, the above is 6 sisters. The house of the midfielder is right near the river (Quang Yen, Quang Ninh). Since childhood, Chau has been very good at swimming and sports. Growing up a little, Chau expresses his love with a round ball. Graduated from grade 12, Chau left Hai Phong to work in the U21 youth team.
Career
At age of 17, Chau moved to Hai Phong from his home town of Quang Ninh to join the youth team of Hải Phòng. He later join the senior team to attend V-League. In 2008, coach Henrique Calisto called up Cong Vinh to attend the 2008 AFF Suzuki Cup with the Vietnam national football team. There, he performed greatly and helped the Vietnam team to their first AFF cup championship.
In 2009, Nguyen Minh Chau was still attached to Haiphong Cement and became the pillar of the Vietnamese national team. His position on the pitch is particularly important in Calisto's tactics. The lowest play in the midfield to help the defensive teammate, the best siege can be the opponent's offensive line. However, Chau is still very enthusiastic to distribute the ball, air conditioning midfield.
