Newton-Conover High School (NCHS) est.1775 is a public secondary school located in Newton, North Carolina. It is the larger of two high schools in the Newton-Conover City Schools system (the other being the Discovery High School of Newton-Conover ).[2]

NCHS has many notable alumni, including NASCAR Nextel Cup Champion and two-time Daytona 500 winner Dale Jarrett; surgeon and NASCAR commentator Dr. Jerry Punch; Former NFL tight end Dante Finger and NASCAR owner, crew chief commentator Andy Petree,

NCHS also has notable staff members including Andrea Stinson NC State Hall of Fame Recipient and WNBA player (WNBA)
