New Age is a Bangladeshi English-language daily newspaper published from Dhaka.[1] It is one of the country's most outspoken newspapers, regarded for its anti-establishment editorial policy.[2] Nurul Kabir is the present editor of the newspaper.[3] In 2004 its offices were searched without a warrant by Bangladesh Police.[4][5][6] A New Age reporter was tortured by the law enforcement agency Rapid Action Battalion members.[7][8][9]
