Ner is a census town and tehsil in Darwha subdivision of Yavatmal district in the state of Maharashtra, India.Mirza Rafi Ahmad Baig(Famous Marathi Poet) belongs to the city.
Its a good market place for grains and also famous for the same.
Nehru Mahavidyalaya,The English High school,Shivaji High School are main educational societies. Bangad Oil Mill Is Also Located In Ner,Which Is Famous For Groundnut Oil. Ner is located at Maharashtra State Highway No. 6 and is about 33 Kilometres from Yavatmal and 59 Kilometers from Amravati. As per 2011 census population of Ner is 29302.[1]
