Nella the Princess Knight is an animated children's television series created by Christine Ricci. The series debuted on Nickelodeon in the United States on February 6, 2017.[2]
Plot
Nella the Princess Knight is about Princess Nella, a girl who saves the citizens of her parents' kingdom by transforming into a princess knight. She does it with the help of her friends, Trinket, Sir Garrett, and Clod. Together they go on quests, solve mysteries, and learn valuable lessons.
Characters
Main
- Princess Nella (voiced by Akira Golz) is an adventurous 8-year-old princess knight who protects her kingdom. She's fearless, confident, sweet, helpful, easy going, and a very friendly knight.
- Trinket (voiced by Samantha Hahn) is Nella's talking unicorn and best friend who loves fashion. She is the styled one of the gang. Despite being her best friend, Trinket can go down to some seriousness and very fearful in every episode.
- Sir Garrett (voiced by Micah Gursoy) is a knight who tags along with Nella on her quests. He collects trading cards that identify different types of magical creatures. He is the smart one of the gang.
- Clod (voiced by Matthew Gumley) is Garrett's talking steed and is friends with Sir Garrett, Nella, and Trinket who has two horns on his head and is often the comic relief of the gang.
Recurring
- King Dad and Queen Mom (voiced by Ty Jones and Rebecca Soler) are Nella's parents, who are usually seen taking care of Norma and are the rulers of Castlehaven.
- Princess Norma (voiced by Courtney Shaw) is Nella's baby sister.
- The Knight Brigade (voiced by Tyler Bunch) is a group of clumsy but well-meaning knights who guard the royal castle.
- Sir Blaine (voiced by Kobi Frumer) is a mean and bossy knight who thinks that he is the best at everything he does.
- Willow (voiced by Maya Tanida) is a farmer who has green hair and knows how to plant plants.
- Olivia (voiced by Alyson Leigh Rosenfeld) is Sir Blaine's princess-obsessed cousin.
- Fidget is a purple and white raccoon.
- Fickle is a pink owl.
- Gork (voiced by Adam Sietz) is an Orc.
