National Democratic Redistricting Committee
The National Democratic Redistricting Committee is a U.S. organization that focuses on redistricting reform and is affiliated with the Democratic Party.[1]
The chair, president, and vice president of the umbrella organization will be former Attorney General Eric Holder, Elizabeth Pearson, and Alixandria "Ali" Lapp respectively.[2] President Barack Obama has said he would be involved with the committee.
The committee has organized as a not-for-profit "527 organization", analogous to a political action committee (PAC) or Super PAC. It was founded in 2016.[3] It was officially launched on January 12, 2017.[4]
