Nathan Templeton is an Australian journalist who is the Melbourne correspondent on the Seven Network's breakfast program, Sunrise.

Career

Early in his career, Templeton worked at Network Ten where he appeared regularly on the network's Breakfast program and also presented reports for Ten News at Five in Melbourne.

In June 2012, Nathan moved to the Seven Network to join Seven News Melbourne as a sports reporter. He covers major sporting events including the Australian Open.[1]

In May 2016, Templeton left Seven News and joined Sunrise as its Melbourne correspondent, replacing Rebecca Maddern who defected to the Nine Network.[2] He has also substituted as sports presenter on Weekend Sunrise.

Templeton was also a junior footballing prodigy, dominating APS football for the Geelong College where he captained the side in Year 12 and also earned a call up with the Geelong Falcons where he played one game. Templeton went on to play 50 senior games with St Mary's in the back pocket under the guidance of mentor Brian O'Brien.
