Nataliya Katser-Buchkovska
Nataliya Katser-Buchkovska (Ukrainian Наталія Кацер-Бучковська, born on March 15, 1983 in Buchach, Ternopil region, Ukraine), is a member of the "People's Front" political party and is part of the Ukrainian Parliament (8th convocation of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada). She is very involved in the Ukraine government, serving as the head of inter-factional deputy group "Attraction and protection of investments", the head of the subcommittee on Sustainable Development, Strategy and Investments, Committee on Energy, Nuclear Policy and Security. Nataliaya is also a member of the initiative "Professional Government"[1]
Education
Katser-Buchkovska completed higher education in 2005 at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv with the degree Master of Laws. In 2010 she was granted a prestigious educational scholarship [2] and pursued postgraduate education at University College London (UCL), where she studied law and economics. In 2011 graduated from the University and was awarded a degree of Masters of Laws, LL.M.
Career
Before she became a member of Parliament she was a founder and managing partner of ‘KCG Investment Consulting’ specialising in alternative energy projects. From 2007 till 2013 she was head of the legal and investment departments at leading companies in Ukraine. In November 2014 she became a member of Parliament of Ukraine.
Author
She is an author of publications on investments, alternative energy and political analysis. The articles examine the role of alternative energy sources for the economy, mechanisms of financing energy projects and investment opportunities in Ukraine.
