SVKM's NMIMS, formerly Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), is a Private deemed university located in Mumbai and established in 1981 by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM). NMIMS was granted deemed university status by the UGC in 2003.
Rating
The National Assessment and Accreditation Council has conferred an 'A' grade to the university.[2] The institute has been awarded a A*** rating by CRISIL.[3]

NMIMS was ranked 34 among management schools in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2017,[4] 14 by Business Today's "India's best B-schools 2016",[5] 32 by Careers360's "Top MBA Colleges in India 2017", eighth among private institutes,[6] and eighth in India by Outlook India's "Top 100 Management Schools" of 2016.[7]

After being awarded deemed university status in 2003, NMIMS has expanded to six campuses across the country. Courses and programs offered by the institute include management, technology, science, architecture, pharmacy, commerce, economics, law, engineering and liberal arts.
