Nareen Shammo

Nareen Shammo (born 1986 in Bashiqa, Iraq) is a Yazidi investigative journalist and minority rights activist.[1]

History

On 3 August 2014, she terminated her television job because she says that the Islamic State abducts women and girls systematically. Since the genocide of Yazidis, she has worked for the liberation of Yazidi girls and women.[2][3][4][5]
