Nandini Siddha Reddy is a Telugu language writer and poet whose efforts were instrumental in enlightening people of Telangana about their neglected culture. His song Nageti salallo na telangana in the movie Veera Telangana which mirrors and illustrates the cultural and social life of Telangana won the Nandi Award for 2010. He is one of the close associates of KCR (Chief Minister of Telangana and TRS Party President) and played a key role in the movement for separate statehood for Telangana. Sidha Reddy has been awarded with the prestigious Potti Sriramulu Telugu University’s annual Vishista Puraskaram for the year 2016.

Life

Nandini Siddha Reddy is the first child of middle class couple Ratnavva and Late Sri. Narra Bala Sidha Reddy. His father was a farmer, a prominent CPI leader and Telangana Armed Struggle activist.

Nandini Siddha Reddy is an educationist, Eminent Poet, Writer and a Public Speaker.

He has been appointed as Chairman, Telangana Sahitya Academy on 2nd may 2017.

He is a Member in the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Syllabus review committee. He is also a member of Telangana State Textbooks Review Committee.

Nandini Siddha Reddy is the founder President of 'Manjira Rachayitala Sangham' (MARASAM). He is also the founder of 'Telangana Rachayitala Vedika' and 'Telangana Rachayitala Sangham'.
