Nahata Jogendranath Mandal Smriti Mahavidyalaya, established in 1985,[1] is a general degree college in Nahata. It offers undergraduate courses in arts, commerce and sciences. It is affiliated to West Bengal State University.[2] Nahata High school teachers the then Head Master Late Satendra Nath Nah, Parimohan Adhikary, Kunjala Srkar, Anil Kumar Biswas, Pljush Kanti Sarkar, Amal Ghosh, Sunil Bandhu Bahuri, and other teachers started a joint committee meeting for start up the Proposed Jogendranath Mandal Smriti Mahavidyalaya.
