Naïm Abou-Jaoudé, born 9 July 1966 in Jal-El-Dib (Lebanon), has spent his entire career in finance, more particularly in asset management, in France, the UK and the USA. He currently is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Candriam Investors Group and Chairman of New York Life Investment Management International.[1]

He started his career in 1990 and has been working in finance ever since. In 2007, he held the positions of member of the Executive Committee of Dexia SA and president of the Executive Committee of Dexia Asset Management.[2]

From 2000 to 2006, he was the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of alternative investments and member of the Executive Committee at Dexia Asset Management.

Between 1996 and 1999, he was in charge of investment management – equities and derivatives at Alfi Gestion and UBS Asset Management France; company that was acquired by Dexia Asset Management in 1999.

Previously, he was a fund manager on convertibles at Transoptions Finance, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole.

Naïm Abou-Jaoudé is a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies in Paris (IEP – Sciences Po) and holds a master's degree in Economics and Finance (Université Paris II).[3]

He steered Dexia Asset Management through the spin-off from its former parent group Dexia S.A. between 2012 and 2014 and rebranded the asset management company as Candriam Investors Group in February 2014, when the Group became a New York Life Company.[4]
