NGC 466 is a lenticular galaxy located about 227 million Light-years away from Earth in the constellation Tucana.[2][3] NGC 466's calculated velocity is 5262 km/s.[3] NGC 466 was discovered by astronomer John Herschel on October 3, 1836.[4] It is also part of a small group of galaxies called [CHM2007] LDC 73.[5]
