Reception
NASL Soccer was covered in Video magazine's 1982 Guide to Electronic Games where the game's gameplay and implementation (its three-quarter perspective and scrolling playfield) were identified by reviewers as making it "fascinating even to those who don't care for the real sport".[1]:53
