Mythimna prominens is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It was described by Walker in 1856. It is found on Malta and in Greece, France, the Iberian Peninsula and Italy.[1] Outside of Europe, it is found in Morocco,[2] the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, La Réunion, Madagascar, Nigeria, South Africa and Zimbabwe.[3]

This species has a wingspan of 28-36 mm[4] and the larvae feed on Lilium species, including Lilium multiflorum.
