Mysuru Warriors

Mysuru Warriors—formerly known as the Mysure Warriors—are one-time champions of the Karnataka Premiere League Cricket League, a Karnataka-based T-20 competition. Mysuru Warriors, with a tagline of "Ditta Nade, Spashta Guri" translating to "Strong steps towards a clear goal" have been a revelation of sorts in the Mysuru area. They are backed by N Ranga Rao & Sons Pvt. Ltd, the makers of Cycle Pure Agarbathies as an initiative to promote sports among the youth and bring a taste of professional sports to Mysuru.

History

Manish Pandey - the enigmatic youngster of team India has been leading the side for the past two years - the first of which resulted in a title. Some of the other notable fixtures of the team are Jagadeesha Suchith who is a hometown boy representing the championship winning Ranaji Trophy team of Karnataka and is a hometown and crowd favourite. Mysuru Warriors are known to be one of the most professionally managed sides in the business and boast of former cricketers through the ranks. As one of the leading lights in the industry, N Ranga Rao & Sons Pvt. Ltd ensures that the team is well taken care of and mainly, provides a very safe conduit for sponsors and players.

Organization

Mysuru Warriors are also known for their innovative approach to running the franchise - tying up with different causes like the Deutche Cleft Lip Foundation, Kalisu Foundation and NR Foundation among also providing a platform for all the city's youngsters with their talent hunt and providing consistent mentorship to players. They in fact identified and brought in the youngest KPL player - Nikin Jose in the 2015-16 edition. Their treatment of the team being no less than that of the more hyped counterpart - IPL teams, Mysuru Warriors went a step further and had a jersey launch that trumped any other jersey launch - with a of the jersey in the 2015-16 edition.

Current Programs

The Mysuru Warriors are set to kick off their journey in this year's IPL with the auction scheduled to take place sometime in August 2016
