"My Kinda Lover" is the title of a hit song written and performed by American rock singer and guitarist Billy Squier.[1] It was the third and final single released from his Triple Platinum 1981 album Don't Say No,[1] following "In the Dark".[2]
It reached number 45 on the US Billboard Hot 100,[3] and number 43 on Cash Box. It also reached number 31 on Billboard's Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.[4]
