Mumtaz Ahmed Khan (politician)
Mumtaz Ahmed Khan is a Member of the Legislative Assembly from Yakutpura Constituency in the State of Telangana, India.[1]
Mumtaz Khan won his fifth consecutive Legislative seat from this area of the city of Hyderabad. Mumtaz khan is representing Yakuthpura Assembly Constituency from 1994 to Present.[2]
He is a member of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen party, which has traditionally controlled the politics in this Capital City of Telangana.[3]
On 18 February 2017, Khan gained national attention when he mistakenly referred to Olympic silver medalist in badminton P. V. Sindhu as a volleyball player.[4]
