Multan Sultans is a Pakistani professional Twenty20 franchise cricket team. The team is nominally based in Multan, and was formed in 2017 to compete in the third season of Pakistan Super League. The team franchise is owned by Schön Properties after winning a bid of US$5.2 million per year, becoming the most expensive team then. Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram are expected to take on the responsibilities of head coach and team director respectively in PSL debut of the team.[1][2][3][4]
