Muhammad Taqi Aljaafari (born October 25, 1986) is a Singaporean professional football referee.[1] He has been a full international for FIFA since 2012.[2] and has refereed a number of AFC Champions League matches.

He Is the current first choice Singapore referee with FIFA international referee since 2012.

He was the referee for 2013 Singapore Cup Final between Home United FC Vs Tanjong Pagar United Football Club. The Match ended 4-1 to the protectors.

He was the refereed for the Singapore Charity Shield 2014. Tampines Rovers Vs Brunei DPMM.

He was the referee for 2014 Singapore Cup Final at Jalan Besar Stadium on 7 November 2014 between Balestier Khalsa vs Home United. The Battle of the Central Derby ended with Balestier won 3-1.

He was named referee of the year in 2014 S.League awards Night

He was sent to Australia in 2015 to be one of the referees at the 2015 AFC Asian Cup as a Singapore representative referees with his assistant Jeffrey Goh.

In May 2017, he was sent to South Korea to be one of the video referees at the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup to be a Singapore representative.

On July 2017, he became the referee for Singapore's International Champions Cup match between Chelsea FC vs FC Bayern Munich. The match ended with Bayern winning 3-2.
