Movie Magic is a 2015 American family/fantasy short film written and directed by Chris Oz McIntosh. The film follows an 11-year-old movie buff who receives a visit from his Fairy Godfather and discovers that, with the power of his favorite films, he's destined to take the prettiest girl at school to the movies.

Cast

Production

McIntosh got the idea for the film after being impressed by the performances of Alexander and Columbus while he was working as the editor at a demo reel film camp for kids. The film was shot entirely in Norman, OK.[1] The movie is notable for featuring a replica of the DeLorean time machine from the Back to the Future film franchise. The time machine currently resides in Los Angeles, CA and was built by Gary Weaver II, who also built the time machine replica that is owned by comedian Seth MacFarlane[2] and was featured in A Million Ways to Die in the West.[3]
