Jan Mohammad Abbasi

Jan Mohammad Abbasi (Urdu) جان محمدعباسي : was Naib Ameer (Vice President) of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan.[1]

Contribution

Maulana Abbasi had been the J.I.'s vice president for the last 27 years. Earlier, he had been serving the party, and later a key component of temporary Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal, as its Sindh chief. He contested the 1977 elections against the founder of the Pakistan People's Party Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto from Larkana constituency.[1]
