Moores Pocket is a suburb of Ipswich, Queensland, Australia.[2] At the 2011 Australian Census the suburb recorded a population of 746.[1]
Geography
Moores Pocket occupies a peninsula or pocket created by the winding Bremer River, which leads into the Brisbane River.
History
The origin of the suburb name is from Thomas Moore, an early blacksmith in the area.[2]
