Monkenholt
Monkenholt is a grade II listed building in Hadley Green road, Monken Hadley.[1]
The house was once the home of Dame Cicely Saunders, the founder of the hospice movement.[2]
In 1971, when the house was the home of government minister Robert Carr, the Angry Brigade exploded two bombs outside the house. Carr and his family were unhurt but the house was badly damaged.[3][4]
