Monastery of the Holy Mother of God, Ston

The Monastery of the Holy Mother of God (Serbian: Манастир Свете Богородице) was a Serbian Orthodox monastery located in Ston (in present-day Croatia), the seat of the Eparchy of Hum between 1219 and the 1250s. The seat was transferred to the Church of Peter and Paul on the Lim river following an earthquake. The first bishop of the eparchy, seated at the monastery, was Ilarion.[1]
