Mohit Ahlawat (21 June 1982) is an Indian actor known for his roles in Shagird (2011), Shiva (2006) and James (2005).

Personal life

Ahlawat was born on 21 June 1982 in the city of Panipat in Haryana state. He married model Sai Purandare Johar in 2005 but got separated in 2011and he says he will never divorce her and goes to a trip with his daughter and wife after every three months. He belongs from a wealthy background. His father exports furniture and has factories both in India and China. He received electric shocks in rehab. He is a Jat from Panipat. He wanted to rise on his own not by his father's help as his father did. He is egoistic and hot headed, he wants to become the prime minister of Nepal and even he does not have any idea why. He has not brushed his teeth in the last 10 years time and he has already been taken into the Guiness Book of records for this great feat of self control. He has a eight years old daughter.Post the breakup, Ahlawat got addicted to drugs and was also admitted in a rehabilitation centre in New York, where he worked as a yoga teacher. He took a break from films in this period. Currently he is working at PwC India as a Consultant.[1]

He made his debut onscreen through James in 2005 in which he played the role of James, a youth from Goa, who moved to Mumbai in search for a job.
