Mohammad Shakir Kargar
Mohammad Shakir Kargar (born 1983 in Faryab Province, Afghanistan) is the Minister of Commerce and Industries between December 2001 and June 2002 and once again from December 2014 to September 2015. He is the son of Ustad al-Hajj Abdul Rasoul Kargarwas and one of the five vice-chairman of the Interim Administration.[1] After the 2002 Loya Jirga Kargar was renamed as minister of Water and Energy. Kargar is an ethnic Uzbek and was a leader in the United Islamic Front. He played a significant role in Afghanistan modern history.
