Mohamud Osman Irro (Somali: Maxamed Ismaan Cirro, Arabic: محمد عثمان إرو) (died 1978), also known as Mohamed Sheikh Osman Irro (Maxamad Shiikh Cismaan Cirro)[1][2] or Mohamoud Sheikh Osman Irro (Maxamuud Sheekh Cismaan Cirro),[3] was a prominent Somali military figure.
Biography
A Colonel in the Somali National Army (SNA), Mohamed Osman Irro was among the military officials that were executed by the government on suspicion of involvement in the abortive 1978 coup d'état. He was held to have been the group leader.[1]
