The Miss Delaware USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Delaware in the Miss USA pageant. The pageant is directed by D&D Investments.
Delaware is the least successful state in the pageant being the only state never to place or receive an award at Miss USA until 2015, although they came close on a number of occasions, i.e. 1992 and 1994. In 2015, Renee Bull became the first representative from Delaware to place in the top 15 and finished in the top 10, effectively ending the "Delaware Curse".[1] She also won Miss Congeniality, becoming the first representative from Delaware to win an award.
Three Miss Delaware Teen USAs have crossed over to win this competition, Cheryl Crowe, Mia Jones, and Kelsey Miller.
