Miriam Balanoff

Miriam Balanoff (March 4, 1926) is an American judge and politician.

Balanoff lived in Chicago, Illinois and received her law degree from University of Chicago Law School in 1963. She then practiced law in Chicago. Balanoff served in the Illinois House of Representatives from 1979 to 1983 and was a Democrat. She then served as a Cook County, Illinois judge. Her husband was Clement Balanoff, Sr. who was a steel worker and an union activist. Their son Clem Balanoff also served in the Illinois General Assembly.[1][2]
