The Mirage 25 is a series of two Canadian sailboats that was designed by Canadian Bruce Kirby and American Robert Perry and first built in 1979. The boats were built by Mirage Yachts in Canada, but are now out of production.[1][2][3][4]

Design

The Mirage 25 series are both small recreational keelboats, built predominantly of fiberglass, with wood trim. They both have transom-hung rudders and fixed fin keels.[1][2]

Both models have hull speeds of 6.14 kn (11.37 km/h).[2]

Variants

Kirby Mirage 25
This model was designed by Bruce Kirby and introduced in 1979. It has fractional sloop rig, a length overall of 25.00 ft (7.6 m), a waterline length of 21.00 ft (6.4 m), displaces 3,100 lb (1,406 kg). The boat has a draft of 4.20 ft (1.28 m) with the standard keel.[5][6]
Perry Mirage 25
This model was designed by Robert Perry and introduced in 1982. It has masthead sloop rig, a length overall of 25.17 ft (7.7 m), a waterline length of 21.00 ft (6.4 m), displaces 4,400 lb (1,996 kg) and carries 1,600 lb (726 kg) of ballast. The boat has a draft of 4.33 ft (1.32 m) with the standard keel.[1][2]
