Mint 400 Records is an independent record label based out of North Jersey.[1][2]
About
Mint 400 Records was founded in 2007 by indie music veteran Neil Sabatino.[3][4] The label has released a variety of work in different genres, but specializes in indie rock and acoustic folk music.[5] On being an independent record label, Sabatino maintains "we sign a lot of our acts based on potential."[6] Mint 400 Records is considered to be a "roster of some of the Garden State’s most under-appreciated and challenging bands" by The Star-Ledger's Tris McCall.[7] The name Mint 400 is the name of the motorcycle race fictional character Raoul Duke is supposed to be covering in the Hunter S. Thompson book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.[8]
