The Ministry of Transport and Communications (Finnish: liikenne- ja viestintäministeriö, Swedish: kommunikationsministeriet) is a government ministry of Finland. Its head office is in Helsinki.[1]
The Ministry of Transport and Communications is responsible for the provision of safe and secure transport in Finland and communications connections and services. It also enables the use of new digital services.[2]
Agencies within the Ministry's administrative branch include the Finnish Transport Agency, the Transport Safety Agency (TRAFI), the Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority (FICORA) and the Finnish Meteorological Institute.[2]
