Minatitlán is a town in the Mexican state of Colima. Its serves as the municipal seat of the surrounding Minatitlán Municipality. [3]

Economy

The main crops grown are coffee beans, corn, mango, green tomato, rice, jalapeño chilli, orange, sugar cane, mamey sapote and other fruit trees. Minatitlán also counts with a big iron mine located at the Astilla mount, named "Peña Colorada".
