Miguel, Prince of Beira

Infante Miguel of Portugal, Prince of Beira, (or of Braganza; Portuguese pronunciation: [miˈɡɛɫ]; English: Michael) (26 April 1820 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) was the stillborn son of Portuguese heir-apparent to the throne Pedro, Prince Royal (future Emperor Pedro I of Brazil) and Maria Leopoldina of Austria and was a member of the Braganza house.

Prince Miguel was named thus, in honor of his father's younger brother Miguel I of Portugal (1802–1866). The latter of whom later became King of Portugal and Algarves from 1828 to 1834.
