Michal Dobroň[1] (born September 29, 1979) is a Czech professional ice hockey defenceman, currently playing for Brest of FFHG Division 1, who he signed for in May 2017. Dobroň joined from the Edinburgh Capitals of the Elite Ice Hockey League, where he was player-coach for one season.[2] He played with HC Karlovy Vary in the Czech Extraliga during the 2010–11 Czech Extraliga season. [3]
Having had a previous spell with the Edinburgh Capitals, Dobroň returned to the club as player-coach in May 2016 ahead of the 2016-17 season.[4] He departed in May 2017, taking up the position of player-assistant coach with Brest.[5]
