Mewatha Beach is a summer village in Alberta, Canada. It is located on the western shore of Skeleton Lake, east of Boyle.
Demographics
In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the Summer Village of Mewatha Beach recorded a population of 90 living in 48 of its 177 total private dwellings, a 13.9% change from its 2011 population of 79. With a land area of 0.8 km2 (0.31 sq mi), it had a population density of 112.5/km2 (291.4/sq mi) in 2016.[2]
In the 2011 Census, the Summer Village of Mewatha Beach had a population of 79 living in 37 of its 191 total dwellings, a -52.7% change from its 2006 population of 167. With a land area of 0.78 km2 (0.30 sq mi), it had a population density of 101.3/km2 (262.3/sq mi) in 2011.[3]
